It felt like there was a children and adults side of the table when they went out for lunch together. Shion seems down to earth and I'm liking him more than I thought I would so far. She may not be completely turned off right now because she's only had attention from nice guys and it's something new, but she'll drop him once she gets bored or his real personality (whatever that is) starts coming through.

He should just quit while he's ahead because it's not going to go anywhere. The way he talks to her makes me cringe and seems like he's trying too hard to be someone who he's not. On the other hand, Yuudai is annoying me with the fake persona he's putting on for Ami, clearly because she said in the first week the type of guy she likes is someone that scolds her and doesn't like her. I'd rather see Ami being a bit more outspoken in the house, rather than complaining behind their backs though. I found Lauren to be more annoying, especially how she dealt with Yusuke. I haven't bothered watching interviews or anything though. While I don't particularly like Ami, I don't mind her so far if she's being true to who she is. The complaining she did to her friends was mild in comparison. Can't believe she said all that in front of a camera. I don't have a dream so I want to find someone who does and latch onto them". "Basically I just want to get married to someone rich who will take care of me. I'll kick them out my life for the way they eat food" "If I find even the slightest flaw with a guy I lose interest. Based on that interview I don't think this one will turn around. No, which is good for her because that means fewer people will hear what she said. It seems like in Ami's interview prior to the show, she's definitely just looking for someone rich to take care of her. Liking how the guys interact in their room, it's just some good chemistry all around.Shion working it though, but the interactions with Captain Tsubasa chan was pretty cute. Although will Yuudai become a Tetsuya? He doesn't have anywhere to go home to! Ami is frazzled by his attempts to tease her. Yuudai is on the move, and this might just work out.Hooboy, straight on camera saying shes fake at the house and her interactions with her classmates. It definitely changed my perception of some cast members though: The best part about Closing Door was giving all the characters closure - watching it at the time after spending 2 years with those people and seeing how they're doing after TH was over must have been even better. I just wish I noticed that there's a commentary track before I finished watching it, because it felt a bit lonely with the panel chiming in only a few times. They did a really good job of condensing the best parts of a season into 2 hours.

I started watching the movie right after the last episode and at first I was really confused, but all in all I really dug it. I don't think there have been any cast members that I disliked and the crew who stayed there for a long time - Tetsuya, Daiki, Yousuke etc.

The last 1/3-1/4 of the series wasn't that interesting, but despite that it was still much better than most of Aloha. Finished watching Boys and Girls Next Door + the movie yesterday.
